Amber Fort & Night Events

Essentially a theatre show without live actors. Covers the story of Amber Fort & Jaipur dynasty, with appropriate blend of history, anecdotes, music and effects. Show runs daily in sequence 1st English and 2nd Hindi. English (6:30 pm) & Hindi (7:30 pm) Timings are revised through the year in accordance with the change in daylight timings. The gallery can accommodate 300 persons. Currently in English & Hindi - plans afoot for simultaneous watching in multiple languages. Duration of the show - approximately 52 minutes.

Amber holds the history of a citadel, pulsating with a legendry past of 600 years and 28 kings of the Kachhwaha dynasty, before their capital moved to Jaipur. Through their unique diplomacy of strategic alliances, their valor and strength, the rulers not only established a long dynasty but, in time, also played a part in changing the destiny of medieval India.

JAL MAHAL is a pleasure palace built in the 18th century. Situated amidst the picturesque Mansagar Lake, the palace has the Nahargarh hills forming its backdrop. Jaipur Jal Mahal Palace is an architectural beauty and was meant to be used for the royal duck shooting parties. Developed as an enjoyment spot, it is entered through a causeway situated in the middle of Mansagar Lake. Jal Mahal of Jaipur, Rajasthan is a five-story palace, with the first four floors being submerged under water. The Nahargarh Fort situated nearby offers a splendid view of the lake as well as the palace. You can also get magnificent views of the Jal Mahal place of Jaipur from Mansagar Dam on the eastern side of the lake. The Mansagar Lake is also a bird watcher's paradise as it serves as the home of a variety of local as well as migratory birds. Opposite the palace are the cenotaphs of the royal family.

Jawahar Circle: Jawahar Circle is the biggest circular park in Asia developed on a highway traffic circle. It is situated along Malviya Nagar near Sanganer Airport on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg.

The diameter of the circle is 452 m and the circumference measures 1420 m. This park was fully developed by JDA (Jaipur Development Authority), and is one of Jaipur's favorite leisure places. There are multiple concentric tracks in the park. It is surrounded by Rose Gardens.

One of the main attractions of the Jawahar Circle Garden, the musical fountain creates 270 different effects. The water level reaches a height of 25 feet. It features about 316 colored lights that can be a visual delight to watch at night. The show starts at 7 PM and is open for 30 minutes every evening. There is a unique TV screen that appears as if it is made of water droplets, like a wall of water spray. It plays the musical videos.
